ROBIN GRIMSBY Ever since childhood, Robin has tried her hand in many forms of performance, but it wasn’t until college when she discovered and fell in love with partner dancing -- West Coast Swing, in particular. Since that moment she has been unstoppable in her pursuit to learn and grow as a dancer. Robin continues to receive training from top national professionals and is currently partnered with Mr. Ken Roesel. She is enjoying recent achievements of 1st-place awards in Advanced Jack and Jills at the recent Mid-Atlantic Dance Jam and Swing Fling competitions. Robin has also served as co-captain for an all-girl swing team with shared responsibility in choreography, costumes, and music selection. For many years, Robin has sponsored monthly dances, as well as a variety of dance workshops with national professionals, including Denise and Sam Miller. Robin’s passion for dance and her desire to help others learn is progressing her toward a career in dance instruction and opening a studio of her own.
