Denise Fortune

Kevin & Denise are the Hand Dance instructors at K2, teaching Hand Dance Dynamics on Wednesday nights.

Denise's dance background began with formal training in the various dance styles: Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance. She performed with the Ruth Shelton Dance Troupe while in high school and continued her dance training at the University of Maryland, College Park. Denise's passion for dance led her to the Smooth & EZ Dance Institute in 1996 to study and learn the art of Hand Dancing. She became a certified Hand Dance instructor and joined the Smooth & EZ Dance Troupe shortly thereafter. Denise has won several first place awards in the categories of Just Dance, Bop and Trio. In addition, she performs and competes regularly as a member of the Smooth & EZ Hand Dance Troupe. Denise has been a part-time dance instructor assisting Lawrence Bradford, Steven Mitchell and currently Kevin Fitzugh.
